Areas where further information would be of value are concise and a reference made to an IRS document. You need e teacher, but its a good book for following. For worked problems, I highly recommend the Schaum's Outline (which saved my bacon on a number of homework problems).I did very well in that course, and feel that reading this book gave me a firm grasp of the material..
