This book was part of a Undergrad English course and I found the pace we read the book was fast and I thought this book was useful enough to go back and reread. The two paragraph summary sections at the end of each chapter seemed to say everything that needed to be said - it was just better said and better illustrated by other authors on the subject. But I will give it to my new salespeople and have them read it.. Yes, it provides some suggestions for dietary changes, but for someone new to hypothyroidism, I can already hear them asking, "Well, what CAN I eat?" It tells you what to avoid, but the list is so extensive, it would be overwhelming for someone new to the condition. This is a wonderful, rich, and interesting book for kids.
