Kidder, once again, draws the story of a remarkable life so we are able to make the connections ourselves--to see how so many people and things came together in this life of misery and dedication that leaves one with a sense of fulfillment and meaning.. They're best friends & that evolves into dating once they're teens. I know a lot of the wiring that relates to this is mfg and parameter specific, but as an electrical contractor that was one area I wanted to know more about. I very much recommend this book to any customer service professional, or anyone interested in public service.Just leaving a customer service organization, I know most companies will not allow the customer service rep to have the accountability and freedom to serve the customer as Nordstroms does. Sometimes when we are forced to leave, we don’t want to remember that there are things that we might miss. The two paragraph summary sections at the end of each chapter seemed to say everything that needed to be said - it was just better said and better illustrated by other authors on the subject. I'd start reading from around the 4th chapter,
