A few years ago I purchased a hardcopy that touted itself as being in modern English but that diminished the text considerably. Vernes does it better with the burning the boat for fuel, going to prison, and not knowing whether he won or lost.. Cussler has given us another quick read. I tried Asparagus and Cheese Spoon Bread and it was great.. Don't let the lit snobs guilt you into buying what you may not like and therefore won't read. Plot was bad too. Once you begin, it is hard to put down and it is the kind of story that will stay with the reader for a long time to come.. Readers knew the 'who' and were really only reading to have the 'why' revealed.My biggest issue with this author and her main character Chief Kate Burkholder involves how she is often portrayed as 'superwoman'. It’s all any of us can offer. The pictures are cute, colorful but simple.
